Lewis Show FAQ

What is The Lewis Show?

The Lewis Show began as a vision that I have had for years to chronicle my life and to share ideas, life lessons, and my thoughts on human events. I started that mission in July 2004 while hosting a LAN party with my friend Gene.

Ever since then, The Lewis Show has expanded from just the blog into social media, news, and networking. My experience in various lines of work along with my travels around the US have given me a fresh insight on relationships with friends, family, etc.

It's my goal through The Lewis Show to share my world and help others while benefiting from them as well. My hope is people will accomplish more if they know how to avoid repeating my mistakes.

Who is this Lewis guy?

I'll have to refer you to that helpful About Me page.

How do I Contact You?

I'm not hard to reach at all. Anyone can email me at any time here.

Is this related to Jerry Lewis in any way?

No, but I've always seen my life in the same way that Jerry's talk show ended years ago. Sudden and abrupt. That's why I called my blog The Lewis Show.

Aren't you Lawrence's Son?

That is my most frequently asked question. Yes I'm Lawrence's son. I know I can never fill his shoes, but you can call me Mike.

So where are all these places that you've worked?

I've worked for BFI, which is the garbage company, I've worked for KFC as a cook (no, I don't know the secret 11 herbs and spices), I've worked for American Trans Air through their internal travel agency, reservations, customer service, and their Vacations department, for JCrew I worked at their National Operations Center and their phone team, I've worked for GE in their insurance arm which then became Genworth, and finally I'm working for an independant broker in Richmond that sells insurance. I've also worked tempary jobs and for a short time with WalMart, Food Lion, Kroger, Meijer, and Marsh.

What kind of pets do you have?

Yeah, I probably mention them too much in the blog. I have three cats, one of which has been mine since 2000, and the other two are kittens that we inherited when we lived with my girlfriend's sister.

Do you have any other bloggers on your site?

Just one, Janine is a guest blogger and as of this point, she has not posted anything yet. I'm always willing to take on a guest blogger, just contact me.
